SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIF. (August 19, 2005) – Maxon is pleased to announce the expansion of its sales force in the mobility marketplace. The new organization will be six times the size of the former mobility sales force and will include twenty-three sales representatives and managers. With this increase, Maxon will have the largest sales force in the mobility industry. According to Brent Stratton, Member - Office of the President, “this new structure will allow us to serve the wheelchair lift market on a national level.”
John Prahl, Vice President of Sales – Maxon Mobility, added that “our salesmen are very experienced and I look forward to working with them to grow our mobility products business.” Troy Overfelt, Howard Smith, and Andrew Friedman are the Regional Sales Directors for the East, Midwest, and West, respectively, and will work with Prahl and their teams to drive the expansion of wheelchair lift sales. Ted Raquet, Vice President of Sales – Maxon Lift, will continue in his current capacity and work with the Regional Sales Directors under the liftgate division.
